Country Mile Gardens is a family-owned and run establishment dedicated to helping our neighbors achieve gardening success. We carry annuals, house plants, perennials, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, flowering trees, shade trees, evergreen trees, as well as all the fertilizers and controls to keep your garden healthy and happy.

Hiring for Openings to Start in March
• Hours: 8am-6pm Monday – Saturday. Sundays 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities: (may vary based on candidate)
•Maintaining plant material
•Unloading plant/hard goods materials, displaying new plant product, stocking hard goods
•Assisting customers with plant selection
•Assisting customers with questions, problem diagnosis etc.
•Plant Sales, preparing paperwork for deliveries and installations

Ideal Candidate Traits:
•Basic knowledge of plants, gardening or landscaping
•Ability to prioritize tasks- find efficiencies and use available resources to complete required duties
•Ability to follow directions
•Excellent communication skills
•An eye for detail
•Reliable and dependable
Requirements:
•Lifting up to 10 lbs required. Lifting up to 50 lbs a plus.
•Capacity to be on your feet for extended periods.
•Must be able to tolerate outdoor weather conditions: rain, wind, cold and heat
•No Drivers license required

We’re looking for a friendly and dependable individual to fill a Cashier opening starting immediately — both part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Store Hours:
Monday-Saturday: 8 AM – 6 PM
Sunday: 8 AM – 5 PM

Responsibilities:
Each day brings something new, and your role may include:

Answering phone calls with a smile
Providing excellent customer service with a welcoming attitude
Operating the cash register efficiently and with confidence
Assisting in seasonal store transitions and merchandising to keep our store fresh and inviting
Preparing delivery paperwork
Pricing products and stocking shelves

What We’re Looking For:

Reliable and punctual team players
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow directions and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passionate (or at least curious!) about plants and gardening
Basic math skills and/or previous cashier experience preferred

Job Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Comfortable standing for extended periods
No driver’s license required
