- Appeal: Little Henry Virginia Sweetspire is a low maintenance deciduous shrub with a smaller habit than Henry’s Garnet Virginia Sweetspire. It will have nice red/orange to purple fall color. It is also known for its white flower blooms around late spring or early summer. The flowers will be near five inches long and are arranged in drooping panicles all throughout the shrub. Little Henry Virginia Sweetspire has a more compact form and is also a native shrub.
