- Appeal: Trumpet vine is a vigorous vining plant that is good to grow across fences or a trellis. It is native to Southeastern United States and produces trumpet shaped flowers that hummingbirds and bees love. The flowers bloom in late spring to summer. A good woody wine that clings and climbs whatever it touches with aerial roots. Dark green foliage turns yellow in the fall. Deciduous vine, deer resistant.
