- Appeal: National Kousa Dogwood has large white flower bract blooms in late spring. Bracts have slightly rounded tips. Foliage is green throughout spring and summer and changes to red during the fall before losing its leaves for winter. It produces red berry like fruits in late summer into fall. Deer resistant and tolerant to juglone.
